I met up with Kelvin and his buddy at Moroso last night, pretty cool guys. Defintely weren't some stupid ricers and had good ideas when it came to cars. He was running 15.1 with a bad 1-2 shift and crappy tires on a stock SHO so that was pretty decent I think.
I want to give this puppy a run and see what it can do! My tranny is starting to hurt a little bit, I felt a little slip and bump halfway through 2nd gear last night but I guess im the man to goto with a transmission problem lol. My worst 1-2 shift took about 2-3 seconds to complete, when I tear into this beast it will hopefully shift in about .25 seconds, while giving off a nice lil chirp. I will defintely want to run it then.... 14's maybe with a few mods isn't out of the question with a good tranny. I tell u what I'll never miss a gear!
I took one of my girly friends out for a blast to 130mph last night after I whent to Moroso and she was about ready to have a meltdown! All I heard was screaching after I told her we were doing 110. It really moves nicely in the powerband during 3rd gear....
Also almost had my first **** last night comming in from moroso, some new Audi tried to give me a ricer flyby but I put it down into 2nd at 60mph and put an end to that manuever, 5 seconds later he shut it down about 2 car lengths back. I don't know what kind it was, or what engine, nor did I have a fair start as he already had it down, so its not my official first **** yet.... I guess he was going to try to make fun of a loud ass Taurus, but when she screamed up to 6k rpm he realized he had no chance hahaha.
