That's Ford's new 'C' design. Fred just pulled it out of the package. Note the styrofoam packing material in the picture. :D

I laugh at that. When I did my 100k at 114k pulled the orgianal thermostat out in about 7 peices. Looked like it had just blown up. Would love to know what causes this.

That's exactly what happened to mine last summer. All of a sudden the Temp gage pegged. I think the thermostat closed when the thing broke, causing the temp to rise. I knew something was up but totally wasn't expecting that when I opened it.
