Just got this reply.

I have been informed that the Grills are ready to go.

Feel free to call us to place an order or if you have any questions.

Processing time for orders is currently 2-3 weeks.

Thanks,
Pam

Two to three weeks to process an order!! The grills can't be too ready to go!:oogle:

They might have said that because of what you choose. You can get it painted or powdercoated. Personally i'm not ordering anything until I seen some photos of their paint work or some different options.

I forgot to copy what Adam sent to her, and she sent to me.

Grills are ready for order, price for upper and lower are $700

painted to match
your choice of stainless or powdercoated woven mesh inserts your choice.
custom badges or colors upon request

Yeah. I'd also like to hear why they couldn't at least answer an email request by a potential customer(s)......Like what's that all about??? Is that what I can expect if I dealt with these people? I'm used to much better service than that.

I personally sent requests (2) and got no answer. I believe several others have done the same..... and no answers......Why?

Sorry to be so negative. I don't know that company and it might be that they have the best product in the world and the most attractive stuff this side of the moon but if they ain't got any customer relations and customer service - they ain't got my business. (bad grammar intended for those that care):)

Anyway in closing - I'll say that I'm not bitter, It's not personal, I and am open to an explanation from this company that wants to sell their product as why they can't treat potential customers a little better.

JMHO -- you make your own minds up same way I have./ have a good evening.

EDIT -- yes I've emailed them again this time for an explanation. If I get an answer I'll post it.

I suppose it would be too much to ask that they, you know, put some images of the grille on their web site?

Go ahead and ask. I hope they respond. I really do. Don't be surprised tho if you hear squat back.

They have't proved anything to me that they can respond let alone anything else.

Good luck. Post up what you find out please.

Edit: btw, I've not even gotten an answer to my last email sent today. So I'm not sending any more.

I agree with all of you.

Perhaps the OP should send a request to one of the Mods to delete this thread, and any other mention of Mobsteel anywhere on this forum.

Probably help to clean up the site a little bit and reallocate some bandwidth.

Mike hold off on that request please.
Let's give 'em one more chance to respond.......and yes I went back on what I said and sent ONE MORE COMMUNIQUE to Adam to please respond to me at least.

They probably won't be back in 'til Monday. So let's see what happens.
LOL, maybe their customer service person or clerical staff have been sick. Who knows -- I hate making excuses for people but I would like to be fair.

If I get any kind of reply I'll post up STAT.:)

This is all very hard for me because I want a new grille for my SHO so very badly. I've been waiting since getting the car last year for a good aftermarket replacement. The mobsteel grille has always appeared to be EXACTLY what I was looking for as well with the black mesh look of their SEMA cars grille.

The problem of course, as everyone has stated on this thread, is the lack of customer service. I really don't like being ignored as a paying customer. A simple "we're working on the grille and will contact you when it's available" response to any of my emails would have satisfied me and guaranteed that I would be one of the first to order this grille when it became available.

So now I'm torn.... I really don't want to give Mobsteel my business however I would also REALLY like to get a grille! My friends at the Ford dealership will help me get a PI grille or the new 2012 grille but I just don't know how long it will be until those are available???

I'm like a spoiled child....... "I WANT MY GWILLE NOW!!!!!"

I hear you Andrew and totally agree. What I thought would be more than fair is to try and contact them again. I wasn't very pleasant in my message but left the door open just enough for them to be able to reply should they feel the need and realize that there's messages in their inbox.:)

So one of 2 things will happen:
1/ they'll stop ignoring potential customers and get off their ass and answer ---- that is if in fact they are being lazy about this --
If this is the case and they've had issues with time and answering -- I can understand and forgive and be patient some more. (for a little while.:))

or 2/ they continue to miss these important communiques from potential customers and still not answer any querries.
If this is the case then they just don't know how to run a business properly and I won't want to deal with them. -- Indeed I doubt anyone will in their right mind -- but that's up to them. I don't care.
To me customer service is just as important as the product and to ignore either is doing poor business on my part.

As I said above: if they answer this coming week then I'll consider doing business with them.
If they don't they won't get my business and I suspect they'll lose a lot more because they're really not worth dealing with.

I'll post up if I hear anything at all -- so buck up and try to be patient for one more week.
Perhaps if some kind of explanation is forthcoming -- it might just help to explain their apparent poor business practices.

To my mind this is as fair as I can be and as much as they deserve./

C.

Zeus, you could be the test for us.:naughty: You order the grill and see how it works. If you take forever to get it or have an problems, you could always come here and complain.

I promise we'll all be very understanding and agree with you (and we'll also know never to buy from Mobsteel.) But you'll have been our hero!

Hahaha I usually let someone else be the test mule but you may have a point! I would like to be someone's hero :p

Arrgh..... this is frustrating, but I think I will send Mobsteel 1 more email and see what they say. (if anything) I just hate the factory grille SO much.....

That's not a bad idea Mark: If everyone could put in $10 and there were 70 customers .. any loss could be spread around..
Food for thought - I would think most people have a PayPal account these days.

Well I just emailed Adam at Mobsteel again. Being that it's the weekend I think it would be fair to give them until Mon or Tues at the latest for a response. Being that I'm in Canada they may not even want to ship it to me however I did offer for them to ship it collect on my Purolator account.....

I guess we'll see what happens next week. In the meantime, any PayPal donations would be appreciated! ;) Haha JK!

The factory grille is pretty bad..... compounded further by the fact that FMC chose to roll with different uppers & lowers.....

Interesting comments posted in the last few days.

I highly suspect though that each of you will be disappointed when next week rolls around and none of you have had a reply from Mobsteel.

Remember folks, I have been dealing with Mobsteel (and essentially acting as the point man) for this grille for several MONTHS now..... & yet still, it's the same 'ol story......

Very little, if ANY, communication. I applaud each of your efforts and by no means am I trying to steal your collective thunder, I'm just kind of resigned to the fact that this product will probably not see the light of day.

:munch:

Ya, I hear you. It's been a long wait for a good grille replacement. On this forum I consider you the "mod-king" and I'm always impressed with your car each time you post more pictures of it. For once I wanted to "beat you" to a mod and have my car be the first one..... childish I know. :angelnot:

As for me, I read this whole thread yesterday and felt that I was all but a newcomer to it and didn't want to be any kind of a wet blanket on anyone's chances to getting what they really want and have waited a long long time for.

......So to counter anything I said here in a negative fashion, I decided to send another final communique to Mobsteel to at least try to succeed in getting their attention.
If it's any consolation to you bpd, I have serious reservations as to whether they'll answer too, lest my statement borders again on negativity.

To me the writing is on the wall: The business known as Mobsteel does not concentrate on communication if indeed on customer relations at all. I think that's pretty well as plain as the nose on one's face.
Should they finally find the keyboard and actually use it more than once or twice, they might just get my (our) attention again. I hope.

I for one am glad that you consider yourself "point man", bpd and that's fine. I was just going to be one of the happy 'tag-a-longs'.. with perhaps a little money to spend on a new grill ..... and that was fine too.

Yes I'm sure you're not trying to steal anyone's collective thunder since I'm sure your goal is to get Mobsteel's attention as you realize our goal is too.
Understand also, if I might be presumptive as to Zeus's intentions, that we're not trying to steal your thunder either .. just trying to help and do our part as good neighbours (or is that neighbors):p

So lest I be any more punctilious (when in fact I'm trying to be more conscientious and scrupulous than careful or demanding) I'll sign off -- again, hoping that we can get somewhere with this thing called 'Mobsteel' and find happiness after all this waiting.

Cheers,

There are some pictures of the PI grill without the cover, but none of the SHO for '12. As far as the Mobsteel grill...I'm really not fond of it, just isn't my taste, so if they never get it done, it's OK with me. I know I'm in the minority, but that Mobsteel grill is seems way lame for the $700.00 they are pricing it. But it would be nice for the guys that like it that they could actually get one.

i agree its definately not 700 dollars cool when you can get a much nicer looking grille for a chrysler 300 for less than 300 bucks

btw found out the stock factory grille is 350 bucks from fordparts.com
