Good morning everyone. New member here and I am looking at getting my first SHO possibly. Joined this site to gain more info and knowledge about the platform. I made another post asking about reliability, the one I am looking at is a 2016 w/ 16k miles.

I'm not a stranger to modified automobiles; had a few mustang gt's w/ bolt ons, couple terminators, evo, couple STi's, wrx, a supercoupe, etc etc... At this point I currently drive a 2015 STi that is coming up on 60k miles, it has just about every bolt on you can add to one and be safe without going to a new block. I've decided to not put that kind of money into an automobile I have no plan on keeping. So, at this time in my life, I just want something thats automatic, awd, comfortable seats, and reliable. I'm hoping the SHO checks all those boxes but I'm concerned w/ the reliability aspect. As far as the sho goes, no, it would not see modifications other than appearance, for quite some time. Thanks and Nice to meet all of you.

Welcome! The SHO in general is pretty reliable. Being it is awd twin turbo it requires some regular maintaince but it sounds like thats something your used too. Take care of her and she will take care of you.

Welcome to the group! With minimal mods and a tune the SHO is a great contender for the 4 door class. It's not as raw as the SS, but you'll be spanking most unsuspecting muscle cars in no time!
