I recently acquired a set of the Pilot XGT V4's and have not had the chance to put them on my SHO yet. I was curious if anyone has them and what their opinion is? I currently have some tires that are under-rated for the SHO (came with it when I got the car) so I know just about anything should be an improvement. I actually got a very good deal on the tires (about 2-4k on them, WITH a set of slicers for about $150) so I figured I would be better off than trying to buy a whole new set of tires!

Great tires

Ive been in the tire buisness for about 15 years and i can tell you that first Michelin as most of us know are probably the best tire out.Theres a reason there so much more expensive then everyone else.Im not sure how many 32/`s there are on the tire(thats how you measure life of tire..3/32 is considered replacement time), but with that said a "v" rated tire is going to be much better than what you had. There is really only 1 tire that is rated in a higher speed rating which would be "z".Most ppl think you have to be going fast to notice a difference in handling but handling makes difference at any speed.Im sure you can notice the difference with just trying to put weight on the tires you bought and there pretty darn stiff.I think you made a great buy.

I think that is what I have, I know they are michelin's and V rated, but not for sure on the actual model, if they are on stock slicers then I am sure those are the ones, they are Great!!! I love em, VERY stable, and wet pavement is like dry:thumb:
Oh and my set cost me around 850.00-900.00, can't remember exactly, that is with road hazard, so you got a good deal my friend!

I used to run those on a 94 that I had. I loved them, and the price you paid is excellent. I also run the XGT Z4's on my 98. I love those too.

Ya i had them on my 94 mtx too. They lasted for a good 60,000-70,000 miles. I was impressed with everything about them, especially the life. The only thing that i like about my new Yokohama AVS's is that they're queiter, but thats not a big deal.
