Looking to purchase Snow kit in the next month or so but looking to clear a few things up. Assuming progressive is easier to work with vs on/off style where it would just dump in. What kits are people using here and are you guys using progressive or something different?

I, and many others would strongly discourage you from consider a Snow setup.

Several issues consistently over the years. Both with actual quality of product (or lack there of) as well as not honoring warranty and terrible customer service have been experienced and reported.

On the flip side however, you won't go wrong at all with Alky-Controls. Julio has been nothing but a pleasure to interact with, and the product is stellar.

Call/email direct though, rather than going through a 3rd party vendor.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply, I had looked at the Alky kits, but working on a bit of a budget (wife capped lol) Anyone thoughts on AEM or Devils own? Done a little bit of poking around on those seen a few horror stories about runaway AEM pumped and hydro locking motors so a little concerned about that.

This^^^ I get the budget part but the 200.00 difference you save will be spent on aspirin on the snow kit.
also remember if you go gravity fee the pump intake and feed line has to be placed below the low point of the meth tank.

The alky kits I looked up either from LMS or just google search they are almost $1k before any kind of shipping or tuning. The DO and Snow kits run from about $350-450, I'm not looking to cheap out, but I can't really go too much higher than about $650ish (for the kit), and I'm trying to keep money ready for install. As much as I'd like to install myself, with the new house and kid stuff I don't often have several hours to spend on side projects and this vehicle is my daily so I can't work a little at a time on it. If that's not possible without serious risk I may have to look for an alternative to the direction I'm going.

E30.... will net you about the same power on all stock motor.

also look on the other forum for used kits I've seen a few.

I did inquire about that with GH, sounds like they aren't comfortable doing e30 much anymore without fuel pump upgrade. That was actually my first go to as there is a premix e30 pump right next to my work for 2.19/gal.

Email Brad at AJPTurbo....

I'll shoot him a message, thanks for the quick replies guys!

Side note, I still may continue to look into a meth kit for the cleaning ability as well as the performance boost.

Meth... need $400+ to run a setup plus the tune.

E30... need nothing to run the setup plus the tune.

Pretty much the same benefits between the two. Methanol/Ethanol... not much difference. One is already included in your fuel, the other has to be added with kits.

DevilsOwn is local (to me) in Oklahoma City so I went with them. I have been running their progressive kit on my Lexus for over 2 years without a single issue. I have had a Coolingmist kit as well with zero issues. I am running an older, more bulky version, though. Every turbo vehicle I have owned since my Evo 9 has been meth injected. It makes a real difference too. As for needing a tune for meth injection, I've never been specifically tuned for it (on any of my vehicles) and still got great ET improvements at the track. I'm not even sure how that conversation would go with my tuner..."hey man could you tune my engine for this colder air it's about to see"

If this a real concern, All W/M companies sell a "fail-safe" solenoid that taps into the feed line and closes when meth should not be pumping. Most kits have a wire to account for this as well.
