Met Ryan (Shoman594) up around Aurora, IL today. Sold him some parts, he made it an absolute pleasure and ease to do business. Great to put a face with a name. Awesome guy.

Also met (droptSHO), picked up some parts from him, maybe getting more. Was a pleasure meeting him and hanging out for a few minutes talking SHO stuff before I took off. Another shoforum great guy.

It just seems like there is a great class of people in the SHO Community, it is always nice to meet and do business with people like this.

Ryan is an awesome guy, very likeable and can get along with anyone. Once you go to a convention or two and actually sit down and have conversations with many folks (lots who don't frequent the forum often or aren't on the forum), you can easily start to form friendships. You realize coming to the conventions is a "must make an effort for" event. It's been said before...it's the people, not really the cars.

True to that. I have talked on the phone to PitaSHO, never met in person, but it is cool to have formed that friendship through the forum and on the phone. Willing to do anything to help someone out. Feels like I have known him for a while.

I am going to do my best to make it to 2012's convention in MN. And forge some new friendships.
