Hello everyone!

I just recently purchased a 2014 SHO and wanted to say hello to the forums.

2014 CPO Taurus SHO in Tuxedo Black fully loaded with about 40,000 on the clock.

I am in the central MD/DC area.

If weather is poor I may bring it down to OCMD Cruise Week (Otherwise I will be taking a '71 Suburban, if you were curious).

As of right now it is stock, and will probably stay mostly that way for a year or so.
I eventually plan on getting tune/exhaust etc, but nothing major for now.

One thing I was considering in the near future is an intake.
I don't really care about power increase from an intake as they are typically inconsequential, I mostly want one to get a little more intake/turbo noise out of it, without sacrificing filtration obviously.
If you have one you recommend, please feel free to do so!

I look forward to being a part of the community and making friends with everyone on here!
Happy cruising! :)

Welcome and congrats! For sound, K&N is the frontrunner intake. '71 Suburban? Antique plates?

Thanks for the reply!

How is the K&N filter? I remember a while back reading about how some of their cone filters let a lot of dirt through compared to others.

Also, here is a picture of the Suburban.

Right now it is just on standard MD Historic plates because we were in a hurry to get it registered for a show last year, but we have a set of these style plates that we are going to register for it soon: http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/images/g/5aQAAOSw3v5YuBfT/s-l225.jpg

Wow that Suburban is sweet! The plates will look perfect on it.

The dropin filter works well, people claim to have actually cut a 1/10th off their 1/4 mile time with it. As for dirt on the cone filter, i believe you can get a sock for it that would help out.

Awesome Suburban! Those are all 3 door, right? No 2nd row door on the drivers side?
