Hello everybody! (hello Dr. Nick!).

I ordered up some wider wheels for my 'Stang and when they show up I will be left with a homeless set of decent 245/45/17 rubber.

Obviously I'd need some spanky new rims, but does anyone know if this much meat will fit in the wheelwells?

I guess I should also ask about backspacing while I'm at it...

TIA,
Brad.

Yes, you can fit that size. I have run them without troubles, including pushing very ******* winding back roads.

When you are getting your 17 inch rims, you will want an offset of 38-42 mm to keep out of problems.
