I just bought an 89 3.0 SHO engine and its missing the MAF. Can I use a 3.2 atx maf instead or must it be a 3.0 maf?

both are 55mm maf's you should be ok, though I have never heard this question being asked before. I will check my 95 atx maf vs my 90 mtx maf when I get home. I would say if you have it laying around give it a shot.

What Michael said, give it a try. If it doesn't work it won't mess anything up. If you don't have a spare contact me via PM or email, I have 2 spares in my tool box.

Using an ATX MAF on your MTX will not hurt anything, as they are one in the same.

I say go for it! :)
