Well I FINALLY lowered the SHO with the SHOshop Linears and got over a 2" drop, HOWEVER I was not informed that the Tokico's had the tab shaved down so the car would drop another 1/4". I am running 225/55/16 now and the right tire rubs the strut. We did however get the rubbing strut to raise a 1/4 of an inch on the knuckle and everything is fine now except that it is 1/4" higher than the other front corner. Since I want to relower the car should I go with a 225/50/16 or a 225/45/16? Also, I need an alignment immediately and if I get the car aligned, would everything still be okay if I decided to drop the Tokico lower on the knuckle afterwards so everything would be level or would I need another alignment afterwards? Thanks

Also, is it safe for the right strut not to sit on the tab of the Tokico or is it okay? The right front strut is currently a 1/4" above the tab now. Thanks.

If you were to get an alignmetn done, then lower the strut pinch location down again, it will throw off the alignment.

Some people have been cutting off the tab on struts to get a lower stance, so you are safe by either lowering or raising the strut's pinch location. It's not a reccomended or safe idea, but it does work.

Measure the distance between the top of the tire, and the bottom of the spring seat. Then use this site- Tire size calculator, and figure out how much of a downsize in tire you want, if you decide to keep your car as low as it is.

I have 225/50ZR-16 on stock slicers, SHO Shop linears/Koni with no tire rubbing. However I scrape my subframe connectors on speed bumps and scrape my front bumper cover on any driveway. 3" of clearance between the bumper cover and the ground in the front is not much.

Well I'm probably going to go with a 225/50/16. I hope with this extreme low ride height that the Tokicos don't blow. Has anyone heard of a Tokico blowing out? Thanks.
