Would there be any other sensor that would cause the low coolant light to come on other than the sensor in the overflow bottle?

My low coolant light stays on even though the radiator & overlfow bottle are full, but my car overheats on really hot days when I turn on the AC. Any thoughts?

You need a new sensor. Unplug it before it blows a fuse and leaves you stranded.

Just check the coolant level when you check the oil.

remove the sensor from the bottle and clean the contacts. also maintain the correct mixture of coolant and water. i dont recall which water to use though...drinking, spring, or deionized, etc.

Have you verified that the radiator fan is running constantly when the A/C is on? The A/C condensor places a heat load on the cooling air flowing to the radiator when the A/C is on. Your system must be running at the limits of its degraded capacity for this to cause it to run hot. The engine temperature should be lower with the radiator fan running full time.

The fan seems to always be on when the car heats up!! Also I am loosing coolant somewhere. I don't see it on the ground so it is buring off before it can get there! I'm thinking that it may be my waterpump.
