Well I have another problem with the Taurus, I was doing a wot when I turned a corner and gave it gas and I heard a loud pop or bang under the hood. I didnt know what happend and I looked down and saw my traction control blinking and I wasnt going anywhere so when I took my foot off the gas. It felt sluggish. So When I got to my destination 2 minutes away. I opened the hood and saw the noise maker thing thats on the side of the throttle body like air tube? That broke off so I capped it and now the car still feels sluggish and the trans shifts alot different and I feel like im not getting any boost untill I give it gas. The engine tone also sounds different after that I have a muffler delete and its usually loud in the cabin and its now a little quieter. I checked most of the tubes and tighten them. Could I have messed up something else?

Without the noise maker on the car it's going to sound different. The only advice I could give would be to make sure you have that completely sealed tight and check for other leaks.
