Sometimes when I make sharp turns, there is this noise coming from the steering column. It sort of sounds like two things (I don't know what things) rubbing together. I can't figure out what it is, and it isn't really a big deal. Anyone have any suggestions for what to look for?

are you sure its in the steering column? because when its cold i know its common for the bushings on top of the struts to groan and rub. this is a simple fix, but you should have someone else listen to it to make sure its the steering column.

I am fairly certain. I will have someone else listen to it. But it doesn't only happen when it is cold. It happens any time I make a very sharp turn, low speed or high. I'll get back to you with more info.
