Loud lifters

I just had some performance items put on my SHO. PPE Hot pipes and PPE catless downpipes and now I can hear my lifters inside my car? I was told they are loud but really?

Mine are loud outside the car, but can't hear them inside. Did the shop beat on your car and get it really hot?

I do not know. Are they suppose to or not?

I mean with radio on I can not hear them but with nothing on in the car I can hear them.

Are you sure it is not the HPFP?

HPFP and injectors. There is foam underneath the intake manifold to dampen the injector sound, and a cover on the HPFP to dampen its' sound. Add the appearance cover on top, and the sound should be rather subdued even with the hood open. But if you missing any or all of these dampeners, that could be the problem. I hope the sound is at least rhythmic.
