Usually this happens when I am shifting out of first into second gear, when I come out of the clutch and attempt to accel there is no power, the engine never stalls and the rpm’s dip and suddenly as if the engine just received a shot, the rpm’s, jump and the car bolts foreword. It is as if the engine’s fuel is choked off then it suddenly gets it again. Does anyone have any ideas?

plug wells are good, minimum oil. the codes are all over the place, but the recurring code reads HEGO reading rich (I dont have the exact code in front of me) did the 60k recently.
This is an intermittant problem, making it more difficult to chase

HEGO would point to a O2 sensor... and since it threw a rich code, it could be either way. A fouled plug, or a bad O2 sensor.

but before you get into that....
dissconnect the battery for 30-60 secs. (this will clear KAM-Keep Alive Memory) re-attach. then re-set the idle. Drive the car around for awhile, and see if it does it again. When (it probabaly will) it happens again, pull the codes. It will give the code(s) of your problem.

ok, been there. right now the HEGO code is consistant. tell me? does that code mean that the o2 sensor is bad? or just that it's reading rich?
unfortunately the codes that I am getting arent helping me at all.
i am really starting to think that this may be a fuel supply issue

Is it always coming back as rich?

I would just replace them... that is, if you dont know how many miles are on them.

Yes I have considered that, I am just reluctant to do so since I havent pinpointed that as the problem. I hate doing shotgun maintenance plus, they arent cheap.

When a 02 takes a dump 99% of the time it will read rich for safe measure. If you have over 60k on the 02s they should be changed. You could check fuel pressure too.
