Hey all I am new to the forum and just picked up a new to me 2014 SHO. I noticed a little surging under acceleration and seemed odd. Did the vent to atmosphere on the front and rear BoV to see if they were venting at strange times or if it was a leak. It appears the they are opening and shutting while on the gas either WOT or just light acceleration, usually it only happens while in third gear. Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks!

I just realized it's right next to the rear turbo feed pipe mounting stud. I've got a "like" slight surge on a GH AO tune, but that's definitely my issue.

Just looked out of curiosity and sure enough, it was detached!! Thanks for the heads up!

So update on here. Zip tied that hose on and it took care of dumping boost at WOT. However I have noticed that a very slight acceleration just like moving with traffic type of thing it is still opening and closing the BoV frequently. Anything else to check out? All the other vacuum lines in that spot are connected both sides and I have inspected all boots for leaks and it all checks out… looking to tune it and just want to be sure I have it all sorted stock before throwing more stuff at it

That is actually normal, as the BOVs are electronic and receive a signal to vent any time the throttle closes. Even though your foot is static, the PCM is constantly opening/closing the throttle blade to maintain the programmed torque management tables, and therefore the electronic BOVs are receiving that signal to vent.

This can be disabled in the tune, but can cause other turbo flutter issues if the throttle closes and the turbos are still maintaining boost while the BOVs are closed.

Thanks for that! Newer to the forced induction crowd so just wanting to be sure before I throw more power at it that it is buttoned up and not going to blow up! Lol
