Well a little while ago I was driving through an empty parking lot and I hit a parking curb because I didnt see it, it was dark. :frown: Anywyas it destroyed one of my new rims which I got a replacment for.

Anyways I just had the aligment done before this. Well it seemed fine at first but then not too long afterwards the alinement went bad. The other problem I noticed was that the front right wheel seems loose when I am going up a curb and I get a rubbing sound when I turn. It comes from the right.

I jacked up the car and the wheel bearings seem fine. Everything else checked out. The balljoint jacket was torn and I didnt seem to get any grease, as opposed to the other side, maybe I just couldnt get to it.

Anyways I was thinking that I need to replace the control arms but I am not sure. Should I just get it aligned? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Did you check your tie rods for any play, are they original? I'm not sure cuz I don't own a mutt '92, but in relation to the play in the steering wheel you can tighten the U-joint where the steering colum connects to the rack (this effected earlier SHOs, but not 93+). Also, with a torn boot on your ball joint, I would suggest replacement, and of course both at the same time.
