I'm in orange county, ny and i'm just looking for some junk yards. I'd be willing to drive a ways, I remember someone telling me of a yard in NJ that was great, but I don't know the name or where it is. The jy I went to crushed their only sho they had, there was so many good parts left on it, not to mention an mtx. thsnks

Time is definitely running short, but Willets Point in Queens. The city is set to raze the entire district, businesses included, courtesy of eminent domain.

None of the junkyards there are able to relocate to anywhere else in the city, because of zoning issues (read: no one wants a junkyard in their backyard).

There are many deals to be had at a lot of places there. It's been a while since I've been, but some of the yards have a SHO on hand.

Also, there's Hunts Point in the Bronx. They're not threatened with being razed, and have a decent selection as well.

I just saved a black/black 93 ATX rom the crusher today.. she's an old girl, but i couldn't stand to see her get squished. Good thing too, lots of good parts on her: a new remand ATX (still got ford dull grey spray paint), and black guts and some bolt on goodies I have yet to look at, she just had the rockers rotted out, I think im gonna part her out.. any thoughts

try junkyards.com
Mr A told me about this site a few years ago. It's been very helpful. I located a 92 blue/black in a town called Wendel Depot MA (hole-in-the-wall).
Hope this helps.
