Looking for MTX Tranny

My 3rd gear blew out , looking for a replacement/rebuild parts and possible installation help, or if anyone would like to take the job on for some $. Any help or comments is appreciated.

'Ripper (Winsted CT) may have one. If not, check with Kirk (Spencer MA).

Either one are only a short drive from anywhere in CT, and either one can do the swap as well.

yeah i hated that... didnt have 3rd or fourth... now that sucked. fourth will probably be going soon if you keep driving it too much... as in the syncros for fourth gear.

Im not to sure on the condition of my old trans, but i have all the internals out of the trans though. its has a brand new (15k) 3rd gear. although i did hit it once though. pm me if your intrested.

That'd be sick. Right now my car is at a shop being looked at. I could only imagine what they're going to say. I'd much rather have you or someone else from SHOforum help me out with this.

I just need a stock tranny in good shape, or this one rebuilt. Plus installation. Also, it's not THAT urgent, but I would like to get it done ASAP. And of course I'm willing to pay for parts/labor. I'm not expecting anything for free.
