As the title says, I am looking for a SHO right now. I saw these when they first came out and was like...too much money! Seems like they have depreciated to the point where I don't mind buying one now. I was wondering what the major differences in tuning is between the 2010-2012 models compared to the 2013+ models. I plan to spray the intercooler with nitrous and if I get a HPFP upgrade, will spray the engine some too (small 50-100hp dry shot). I am no stranger with nitrous and have made 100's of passes with my previous cars....been spraying since 1999!

Oh where to start......

Yes they have depreciated. Personally the 13+ (Gen 5) are just flat out nicer and have better computer for tuning.

I am a nitrous guy as well. However, you are wasting your money. These cars can make 100 hp more on just tune depending on what fuel. After that the upgrades are costly. Spraying the stock intercooler is a complete waste. The stock unit is completely inefficient and you will just be wasting nitrous. I personally would use a spray bar and and CO2. That being said, invest in a GH intercooler. Search about them and you will see how efficient they truly are.

Even with a upgraded HPFP I wouldn't spray this car unless you are working hand and hand with a tuner. Matt from Gearhead and I (when I had FB) had a conversation about this same topic. He advised me against it.

I personally would get the car, get the intercooler, and get a tune. Boom literally everything you want to do with nitrous and way "safer". This coming from another nitrous guy. The fastest these cars go as of right now is into the 11's. Quick for a land yacht. However, not fast. If you want to go fast, built a cheap racecar.
