I am looking for a dead engine from a Gen III SHO to take some measurements and was wondering if anyone might have a cam-failure block and heads sitting around that they might want to get rid of cheap. I am getting into some aftermarket design and have recently found that Ford does not keep drawings for any part of these engines. The only way that I can get dimensions from these motors is by measuring one myself. If anyone has one within driving distance of Lafayette, IN that I can come take a look at also, that would be a great help too!

Thanks,
Brad

I think Kirk (SHODWN) has an engine not for sale, but he may take the measurements you want if you ask nice enough. wink

SHO me da Money..

There is really no such thing as a dead SHO motor (V8). it can be repaired if you have nesscary parts.

I don't know of any that are removed from the cars, but we have a couple members up here in Chicago that I'm sure wouldn't mind helping you out.
