Well, excuse me !! I figured somebody would care. I just got my '91 back after (ahem - somebody) "borrowed" it for almost a year. . . . . . . . . Got the engine pulled and fixing to rebuild it or replace the rod bearings.

Got it back, and the K&N air filter was missing, the crankcase had about 4 quarts too much oil in it, and the motor was knockin............And, the oil was new oil with gold flakes in it. We struck gold, baby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me, if someone left you borrow a vehicle under very few conditions, such as, make sure it has oil, change the oil, don't rag it out, rotate the tires, and detail it and bring it back, wouldn't you feel obligated to reimburse them at least a little? Especially, if it tears up on you ?? At least tell them, hey, I was driving it and it started knockin. Not this character...........I go to pick it up cause he quit driving it, an he knows I'm on the way and lets me find out myself.
