Hey Guys just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Easton. I live in Arizona. I was Gen 2 SHO owner back in the day, a white 94 MTX. I wish I never got rid of that car.
Picked up a 13 PP SHO a month and a half ago. 65 year old lady bought it brand new, traded it in for a GT 350 at 70 years old! Dealer that she bought it from did all the service on it too. So I lucked out and my SHO was very well taken care of. It has taken me a month to get the old lady smell out though. I know.....rough.
I already de-badged the trunk and paint corrected the car (10 hours by hand). Limo tint all the way around. I unlocked Navigation with Forscan, and did a bunch of other little goodies. This weekend the PTU is getting a flush and fluid change. For modifications, next up is a UPR catch can, noise maker cancellation pipe, drop springs, LMS tune, down pipes, then finish it with wheels.
She is averaging right at 23.5 mpg combined, I drive alot of freeway miles. Cruise control set a 70 to 75 and away we go. I haven't been beating on her because it is already really hot and turbo cars don't really like 110 degree weather. I am really impressed with the car however. My only complaint is mine seems to hold first gear a bit longer then I want it to. However, I can just hit the upshift paddle and it fixes that. I wonder if the tune could address that. I know, I know...AWD, 4700 lb car (with me in it)....just bugs me.
