If I order a Tune From Livernous for my 2014 SHO and I already have the Strategy Code will the programer come with the tune loaded and ready to go? Thanks

You can certainly ask them to do that for you. They are very customer-friendly!

LMS no longer utilizes SCT for tuning. I'll leave that to their Rep's to explain why.

They do offer the "MyCal" device exclusively, and as such, they have the ability to access quite a few more tables/parameters than other devices that are sold through competing tuning companies.

I would suspect that if you already had your strategy code in hand, coupled with your VIN, that making one, complete purchase, in it's entirety.....

That yes, they will ship you the device with w/e tune file you choose, already pre-loaded.

Well you were correct, I recieved my Tuner Preloaded with a 93 & 91 octane tune, loaded in the 93 octane tune today, all was good and the SHO runs great and it was 85 degrees today. The transmission shifts nice with no jerky shifts. Installed a K&N drop in filter too. lol

This car needs a little noise what exhaust you guys like? not looking for Loud and dont want to cut anything off the stock exhaust in case i want to go back to stock, bolt in design.
My 04 Cobra is loud already, the SHO is my DD.

Some of the guys that already had an SCT would be able to get their codes to get a MyCal loaded. Besides having the SCT or Mycal in hand, I don't know how else you could get the code. When you get the MyCal, you read the codes, send them in with requested tunes then, they send you links to update it with the tunes.

Thought I read somewhere it is either on the PCM or on a sticker in the owner's manual?

That's possible I guess. But I wonder if the dealer has ever updated the PCM, it could have changed the strategy.

Im pretty sure it has to be one of the newer style SCT tuners to get the strategy code because he didnt use my older model SCT

You are correct. My Xcal3 for my 2008 GT500 does not link with the SHO.

What stage tunes did you get from LMS. I just got the new 4X 3bar tune for my 2012. I'm running just Dynomax mufflers, cause I felt the car was too quiet for me.

93 and 91 octane, I installed the 93, its suppose to be like there Stage 4 if im correct. They only offer 93 and 91 tunes for the 2014 SHO

Tony, That should be the V8. Very good tune with a number of refinements. Nice flat boost curve.

Yes the Mycal tuner did say 93 octane V8 on the screen, I guess thats Version 8?

Yup. When the 13's came out they had major changes to the PCM. Tuners had to start from scratch. Over the course of a year or so, Livernois refined their tune. Version 8 is the result. The process also helped us 10-12 guys from what was learned and we have a new tune also.

The V8 is on par with the Stage 4+.
