With the purchase of a MyCalibration tool, how many custom tunes does it come with?

I'd be happy with just an 87 and a 93. Maybe a 3 bar stock like I've heard people talking about. I plan on doing down pipes later on down the road.

Yeah that would be good, 93 tune is where the huge power gain is, actually just had my sho on the 87 tune and was driving it around the other day and ran the 87 out and flushed it with some 93 then put that 93 v11 tune back in and there is definitely a huge difference between the two

Put the LMS Firestorm pump on it and that V11 tune really picks up!

4 plus stock file, depending on what year sho and what mods you have there are plenty of tunes to choose from!

And don't stray from their approved mods or else it'll run like shit and they won't be able to handle fixing it.

Definitely far from true, we have customers using other parts on alot of their builds rather it be Ford, GM, or Chrysler products and we take care of our customers every step of the way

Then why did you tell me your tune was acting up because of my exhaust, and then try to sell me one of yours instead of fixing the tune? There's a reason it's a common complaint about your company, I just wish I'd listened.

It was "Amahaney" who responded, saying:

-----

It appears the choice of exhaust you've made is having some negative impacts on your vehicles performance. Most people that I've spoken with who had installed cutouts on their ecoboost SHO / Explorer had nothing but problems with the way they ran and ended up taking them off. These vehicles need a specific amount of back-pressure to maintain optimal performance and having the cutouts open like that causes them to perform worse in most every situation I've personally seen. Having the H pipe design is also something that appears to may have a negative impact on performance / exhaust flow as well. I've attached a photo of the Corsa / Thunderstorm exhaust system that we personally use on all of our builds and suggest to customers. They have the front portion of the exhaust setup to merge together where the two pipes meet side by side and the center wall is cut out to allow the flow to equalize as it comes out of the turbos while still maintain some back pressure to help the turbos spool properly.

-----

The first problem being the backpressure myth, you have a tech saying it needs backpressure. Backpressure is always bad. (Just google Backpressure myth if you don't understand) Second, they blame the exhaust for it, knowing it's a cutout. The entire point is to keep it quiet until I'm at the track. Then they try to get me to spend more money on something that doesn't do what I want, and has the car loud all the time. A catback is inferior in every way to cutouts, it flows worse than open and it's louder than closed.

Now on to the issue I originally emailed about, at WoT pulls it would often hang in first, almost like it was dropping back to neutral, and bounce off the rev limiter until I let off. This went on for a while, I detuned it to stock, and the issue went away. A few months later I tried the tune again, and the issue came back. It's definitely related to the tune, but it did not exist before I modified the exhaust. Stock car with v10 tune was good. I was sent the v11 tune, the issue persisted, I was eventually called by someone (I cannot remember who) who basically said unless I bring the car up to you there's nothing that can be done. It hasn't been as bad lately for some reason, it just hangs a moment sometimes but does shift.

There has been at least one donk in the sales department...view my previous posts if you are curious...

When I call... I ask for Cody, Anthony, or Dave (I think Dave runs commercial or whole sales) as they have always been upfront and provide honest information.
