Livernois tune with downshifting harshness?

Ever since tuned, the upshifts are beautiful. Not too harsh, just perfect.
For some reason, when the car downshifts while decelerating from let's say 55, at exactly 40mph, the sucker bangs down into the next lowest gear, whichever that may be. Anybody else have this issue?

Never had that issue. Did it ever do that when stock? How many miles since it was tuned? You might want to put the stock tune back in to determine conclusively if this issue is tune related. If so, I would want to chat with the tuner. Whose tune is it?

Actually, put back to stock and still does it, not quite as intense, but it does. Gonna bring to dealer and see if they can do something about it. Bangs down at 40 and a bit harsh going down to 1st also sometimes. May have to modify the valve body as per previous TSBs I guess. Not sure. Wish me luck.

Not trying to sound like a dick here, just responding since the OP hasn't. I'm assuming it's Livernois because it's in the title.

Apparently I didn't read the title, hadn't had my morning coffee or was just an idiot. In any case, I am glad it wasn't tune related. I was 100% happy with the transmission behavior on my MKS with the Livernois tune.

Just an update, returned the car to stock. Brought her to the dealer. They updated programming as per TSB. All fixed! Shifts like butter now. No more harshness. Re-installed Livernois tune and good to go.
