Looking to level my '12 PP SHO. I did do a search and it seems the consensus is cutting the rear springs, but I was just wondering if there were any other DIY options that don't involve cutting? According to the tape measure I only need to drop the back about 3/4" to be where I want to be. Thanks.

The easiest thing to do is cut them.

Post 49 is a good before and after.

You cut 13" of coil off each side, I've also seen in my research to cut off whatever length of coil equals half of the desired drop height. So if I'm looking for 3/4" drop, measure down 3/8" from the top, find where that intersects the coil, and cut there. Does that make sense?

Yes, however I know exactly where to cut make a PP car level. I cut them twice, and 13 inches was the correct length for my application.

I understand, I'm not trying to second guess you or anything, I just want to be extra cautious if I end up cutting them. I can always make another cut, but I can't add it back on if I go too far, lol.

I originally had the same way of thinking. I did it the way you were thinking, and the car still sat higher then I wanted. So I cut them again. After they settled all was well. Taking the springs out is really easy. I can pop them out in 20 mins. In the post below, it explains the easiest way to remove the springs.

Okay, thank you for all the information. This will be one of the first things I take a look at in the Spring when I get the car out.
