Well i ordered a set too, just got them on Wednesday. To bad i already ordered a Grote flasher.

People said these leak? Its super wet and rainy here, im guessing these newer ones are no different?

I haven't heard that before, but it probably wouldn't hurt to run some epoxy or glue around the housing seal before you install them. Just lay down some masking tape in case you're worried about making a mess.

I highly doubt they leak... reason is, if they leak, and it ruins them, people return them and the company looses money.

So my question is, why would a company continue to have a available a failing product that they will lose money on?

I would (and will on mine) run a nice bead of clear RTV in the seam and like stated above use some masking tape to keep everything looking nice. That should prevent you from ever having issues.

My first set have yet to leak.

You can send me your grote flasher, I'd rather use it than a block of resisters. ;)

I put mine in I already had an led flasher installed. However with the resistor disconnected
the lamp out light came on. I left them plugged in. It is only one big resistor not the auto zone white rectangle one's.

Mine were supposed to come in yesterday, but apparently they required a sig and this happened:
http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1945275

They will reattempt on Monday and luckily I"m off for MLK day.

that video was funny. that's weird though, mine did not require a signature at all.

and btw I put them in today in the SLO and they look and work great :)

So, my son took the brown shipping box and I have NO paperwork, was there a recomended location for this resistor block with two sided tape on it?

Not that I saw. I zip tied mine to the taillight in between the two bulb sockets for the turn and brake lamps. There is a small hole that I ran the zip tie through.
