Led Dark Spots

I know that leds create dark spots in the clusters my question is has anyone maybe thought about putting a led strip in the cluster to help with this or would it? and what about the illumination in the light switch housing. looking for ideas and opinions Thanks

I was on a led website not to long ago and there was some led's that is made for gauge clusters. They say it is a wider beam than normal.This may help but they also have led strips too. http://superbrightbulbs.com/194.htm

I've used the wider beam 5 and 6 LED bulbs, still spotty. Not sure how you'd fit a strip in there. Could always get a small electroluminscent wire off ebay and wire that in. Back in '05 I was going to make a blue gen 3 football/ovalofdeath/factory head unit and got the wire but never got around to doing it.
