I have the ability to get a full front cover and hood cover for my '94, and also get the set for my '06 Stratus (front cover is pitted beyond belief) both for $85 bucks. I have been reading reviews, that a lot of people are having issues, but back in the late 90's I had 2 of the LeBra branded ones and they fit like a champ and no issues with the paint under it.

Has anybody used them lately? Have they really gotten worse since the 90's?

Thanks!

I had a friend that had on on his mustang it damaged the paint under it. I have also talked to people in hot/sunny areas that said after a long period the paint under the bra no longer matched the paint that had been exposed to the sun. I know there are a number of people who have used them to cover up defects successfully.

Just be aware that there could be issues associated with them.

I put one on my 95 8 years ago...still looks new, but I've
never looked at what the paint looks like under it.
My front end was stone chipped so rather than paint, I put
LeBra on. Just put one on my Altima that I picked up last month.
They fit really well, but what the paint looks like under it..???
Think I paid $85 ea from ebay.

Fully aware of Sun fading, but one review said it rubbed all the paint off under it. I just want to cover up the bumper cover on the Stratus mainly.

I have had Colgans over the years. Best, IMO.

Anywy, I only used them sporadically for road trips. Only went on a clean car. Came off if they got wet. Only put it back on a clean car.

NO bra will work without damaging the paint if always left on.

agreed, every vinyl type bra will scuff the paint under it. it will only be a matter of degree of damage to the paint, not a matter of damage or no damage.

I used one on my 93 and it wasnt a very good fit for the hood, rubbed all the clear coat off because it would move around at higher speeds. No amount of adjusting it would keep it firm where it was supposed to sit. I will probably go with another brand if I ever use one again.

+1 for Colgan. I had one for my '91, and picked one up a while back from a forum member for my '92. Had a LeBra once for my '97 SLO, fit was awful.

Covercraft makes a really nice bra, much better quality than Le Bra. I got one for my wife's '92 (SHO), and compared to the Le Bra on my car the Covercraft is well put together.
