There are covers that look pretty good. Send a message to shotx since he has some good ones. I had the leather in the driver's seat bottom replaced by an upolstery shop for only $75. It was better leather than the OEM seats came with.

When I got my sho (90 model), I had the same problem... but worse. Foam was very visible. IMP, Ford didn't place too much emphasis on the quality of their leather seats in the first 2 generation sho's. I could have had mine done right for about $60-$70. The leather interior is so poor (more like vinyl) and being 12 yrs. old, it looks its age. So... (You guys will probably not agree with this, but it is much more economical)... I went to K-Mart and spent $3 or $4 on black automotive tape. It fixed my problem. It was just the bolster. I was pleased...
