After finishing swaping in the new heads, i noticed a slight smell of gas. So after some poking around I found the fuel injector on the #2 cylinder is leaking at the fuel rail. These are still teh stock injector in the stock rails. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I don't think its a gushing leak but a leak none-the-less. I hope there is an easy fix.

You might want to pull the injector out and see if the o-ring is cracked or damaged, thats what happens most of the time:thumb:

Replace the o-ring, it probably got damaged.

You might get lucky and find it just slipped out of position.

Or any auto parts store that carries the Fel-Pro ES70600 set.

Grab your phone book and start calling.

*update* Problem fixt. Sure enough it was a damaged o-ring on injector #2. I was able to scavenge another o-ring off my 3.2 injectors I scavenged the tips off for my 30lbers. I did notice though, the o-ring on the 3.2 is red and more durable then the soft black rubber ones on the 3.0 injectors. I think they may even be polyurithane as opposed to rubber like the 3.0 injectors...

interesting.
