Wow. I really hoped they’d squeeze out a 2020 or two

Kind of a lame looking Taurus for the last one. Should have been a SHO or an interceptor in any color but beige or gray.

LMAO Really they don't give a F@#K about this car, in the nine years its been on the market I have seen one commercial, based on that one commercial I ended up buying one. Its a great car, at this point its a little dated BUT its a great car. I really don't know what Ford or for that matter any American car makers are doing. To be honest I feel like for the most part they just stopped trying, they figure your going to buy what you always have bought so why try.

LOL Yes I'm just a little bitter about the loss of the SHO, Focas RS, etc American cars in general.

SHOinVa I couldn’t agree more. Ford killing all of the cars and going totally SUV is a horrible idea. Then all the other American manufactures are making small crap with weak ass 4 cylinders. The least they could do is bring the European diesels over. European spec diesel 4 cylinders are so much more powerful than the American gas counterparts.

Totally agree. I haven't seen an add for a Ford Fusion in years. What do they expect when they don't advertise they even exist?

In any case, I hope to keep my SHO for some time.

From Ford's perspective, it looks like they are trying to clean up the product line and be a truck/SUV company plus the Mustang.

Given how popular the "Gran Coupes" are among the Germans, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4-door Mustang come out in the future with the SHO namesake.

What does an electric SUV concept have to do with the rumors around a 4 door Mustang?

Considering the nautilus GT will have some stupid hp.tq numbers I think the mach will effectively be a hybrid sport SUV of sorts, so a 4 door mustang. That's how I look at it.

Just watched the promo video and it does imply a blend of an Explorer and a Mustang so I see where you're coming from - looks like something to slot in between the Edge ST and the new Explorer ST.

I was referring to this:

Obviously a render but the rumors around something to compete with the Audi A7, 4 Series Gran Coupe, etc. have been around for some time. Interesting to see if they follow through with it.

Yeah, I might be down with that concept. Although, it'll probably be restyled into a form that I wouldn't enjoy.

see a 4-door Mustang
I have heard this blasphemy spoken before, I really don't understand why people think this is a good idea. The only thing it will actually share with a Mustang is the front clip (maybe) IMHO calling it a "Mustang" degrades the name and is insulting to what might be a really nice four door sedan. A Porsche Panamera is not and never will be a 911 even if you cover it in 911 badges, it's a completely different car just as a four door "Pony" car is a oxymoron.
Additionally if you really want to compete with Europe your going to need an AWD system of some sort, so now where going to have a 4x4 Mustang, its cool in a movie but once again its not what a Mustang does.
I really don't know who or what is running Ford marketing but they should be taken out behind the wood shed.

Go back in history and you will find that there already has been a 4 door Mustang (and Station Wagon as well).

The Fairmont and Zephyr models were just 2 examples of the Mustang Fox Body family.

today, block machining is running the last of the 35FWD turbo blocks, to be assembled for the last time on Monday the 18th. I believe these will either be police motors or mothballed for replacements at a future date.
So sad.

If I had to guess the focus on suvs will bite ford in the rear at some point in the future.
Gas prices are bound to sky rocket again at some point for one reason or another. Then again they could get lucky and have enough electric vehicles by then for it to not matter.
