Ok I've heard how easy it is to install the Koni's into the stock casings, and now I need a tip I guess. I've got the struts out and I'm ready to put it in. Question is, can I use a cutting wheel to cut the end off the stock casings? If that works then all I need to do is drain the oil and insert the strut correct? Thanks, just making sure it will work. I have a friend over helping and he seems to think its a lost cause before we even start. This is not too hard right?

I used a cutting wheel myself. Just follow the Koni directions. Drill small hole in the bottom and drain oil. Use wheel to cut. Remove inards. Enlarge hole to correct size. I usually had to remove the "weld" on the Koni's with air grinder before installing so they would slide completely in the strut housings. Make sure you cut to right length!

Cool thanks. We tried it and so far, no problems. Just needed to be sure we're on the right track, after running into some minor setbacks. It's coming right along now, should be done by thursday sometime. Can't wait!
