Knock Sensor Location??

Yes. And IIRC you are probably going to have to take the fuel rails off too to get it off, but I definitely could be wrong here. But it is buried pretty well under everything. :(

Yup, you gotta pull the Intake Manifold and fuel rails out of the way. Takes a 1 1/8" Deep Socket.

FWIW, only one of the probably 15 SHO's I've dealt with so far have had a bad knock sensor.

The sensor is dead center in the first image below. It is on the passenger side edge of the upper shelf in the valley. The fuel rails can be pivoted up without disconnecting the fuel lines as shown in the lower image. I had lifted the fuel rails to replace the injector to head seals at 269,000 miles.
