Hey needed to ask a few questions and apparently my emails do not get to you. Sent you a few regarding the Cam Fest post and never got any replies. Gotta hate email sometimes....

Anyway, I decided on keeping the SHO instead of buying me a AWD DSM car. I am getting ready to jump deeper into the mod boat and want to get welded. I know that FPS is closer but I have never heard anything about their weld jobs like I have yours. I am in NC and don't really now where your shop is or much about what all you can do and for how much.

I am getting the chip from the other guy but before I do a ton of stress tests, I would feel better welded. I am also considering adding the "go juice" after the welding is done. Tranny as already been done by a VERY reputable tranny guy here locally and was the first to even know anything about the SHO when I had to have it fixed. I would prefer that it was "Kirked" rather than FPS'ed to be honest. I know you are in Maryland but I need a zip of where ever the shop is to get an idea of time and distance to travel.

I missed the Tennesee welding because of another bad email apparently and I want to see of the drive to you directly is actually going to be feasible due to the cost of the drive and hotel stay.

Please email me with any info that you would think would help so I can make a final decision. Also, since it will be at your place and not a Cam Fest hosted by someone else, could include some prices. I thank you in advance for your time and anything you can offer. I am just at a point now where I am going to have a bit that I can give the Ole girl some TLC.

Kirk will be posting info regarding the Houston and Tulsa camfests scheduled for March in the next day or so.

Tulsa would probably be the "closest" for you, although the trip to central Massachusetts (Spencer, MA if you want to check the mileage) may be about the same or even shorter. Or if you wanted to wait until ~August there is the possibility of another Nashville fest.

Kirk gets hundreds of emails a day and sometimes misses important ones unintentionally. Try putting something noticeable like "WELD MY CAMS" as the subject and he might catch it easier!

I may need to go back to school because I was thinking that MA was Maryland. Forgot that was MD! oh Massachusetts would be a **** of a drive and makes FPS actually sound a bit easier by far. I would've made the Tennesee one but once again, gotta love botched emails.

One other question Kirk, HOW IN THE **** did you run a 13.9! What was your biggest power adder? You running N2O?

Bah, that's nothing. I drove overnight from MA to GA (through some heavy rain with a limping trannY) for my cam welding. I wish Kirk had started welding a year earlier. Would have saved me a long trip.
