Keystone Strut Tower Brace question.

I just installed my front strut tower brace and the hood shocks are hitting the brace causing the hood to stay open. I don't see anyway other than removing the hood shocks! Is this correct?

Yes, you have to remove them.

It's either a prop rod or relocation kit for you now. That is if you can find a relocation kit. They do pop up from time to time though.

i dont think there were any strut braces that didnt require you to remove/relocate them

Well, I did just that, removed them, and now it works great! Now on to one of my other 500 issues, or is 600 issues? Anyway, thanks for the help!

You maybe still can get the strut relocation hardware from Adam in Iowa; hmm anybody remember his contact info ? I got them from him and they work great.

I know his name is Adam Varney. He used to be a regular around here, but I haven't seen or heard from him in a while. I got a set of his thingies from ebay and they work beautifully!
