okay so I posted last year about my keyless entry pad not work (except for the lights)....my keyfob on my key chain works fine and unlocks, locks, trunk....it is just my keypad that is wacko.....I replaced the control module in the trunk....nothing changed...I replaced the keypad on the door....nothing changed.....I took the door panel off and checked wires as far as I could see and nothing looks wrong....what the crap do I look for now.....these kind of little things bug the crap out of me! again, when I hit my keypad, my lights on the keypad and interiors come on, but that is it....no trunk, no lock or unlock.....any help would be wonderful...btw it is on a 1995

Go to Help and Maintenace - Electronics and Audio - then go to second sticky - Key Pad Code. You will be able to read the numbers (from the actual box) that you should be inputting. Maybe that is what is keeping it from working.

I feel your frustration. Just remember that there is ALWAYS a fix to every problem. This just happens to be one that nobody ever seems to have the answer for! I've seen this same post up here several times, and there is never a clear answer! Good luck brother

that is the frustrating part.....there has to be a common problem with as many 95's that have this issue! I can't believe this has me and so many others stumped

Must be something to do with the last 2 numbers, does your code use one or both of these? Maybe one of them is always in contact (but the light would be on you would think). Or one of them manages to repeat the number (twice) with one push. You mentioned that you changed the keypad once, that should have taken care of that possibility. If you unhook the battery or **** the power to this thing, would that change anything?
