The guy I bought my car from only has the 1 key for the ignition. I'm stuck opening the trunk with the keyless entry system. Can I go to a local Ford dealership and get new keys for my car? Will they be able to give me a new ignition and trunk key?

I have the same problem. I only have a key for my ignition. So, when my battery ran down and my doors were locked, I had to call the locksmith to get into my car. How can I get a new key?

The original selling dealer MAY have the key code. But no one else will. Best bet is to remove the lock cylinder and take it to a locksmith.

So if I remove the key cylinder he can make me another key?

How about the trunk key?

I bought a new ignition lock cylinder and had the locksmith match the new cylinder to my original key. I'm sure if you take the cylinder into them they can make a key, assuming they are really locksmiths and not just lock sellers. Go to an old time one that has been around for years, you will have better luck.
