When I bought my SHO I didn't recieve a manual and I was wondering if anyone new how to change the code on the door or if you even can. Thanks.

You can use that article to get the factory code without knowing any electronics.

Once you have the factory code, you can program in a personal code.

yes you can program in a SECONDARY code but the factory code will still be there. to change the code altogether, requires different resistors.

the factory code will still be there if you put in your new code, its there if the battery goes dead or something like that. just reprogram your code again. If i'm wrong let me know, but I thought i read that someplace.
