Just out of curiousity

Duluth MN, Somewhat new owner of a 94 3.2 ATX with 230,000 miles, silver with grey interior, 2 rust spots on each rear wheel well(spots,not holes). Still runs good, still shifts good, all options, leather, sunroof, JBL, the works. from what i know ( i am somewhat mechanically inclined, but i'm no mechanic). Needs back struts and a valve cover gasket. Just replaced the wires and it runs great. still beats 5spd TSi's roll and go with ease . I've recently come across a 93-95 red 5spd (ive owned around 10 cars in 2 years, all manuals). Which i desperately want. My question to you guys. Kbb (kelley blue book) says in fair condition (in need of professional work mechanically, some rust) with 230k its still worth 1750. Do you guys think i could get 1200-1500 for it? If not how come? If you guys think i can, id be more then inclined to sell and get the red MTX and replace the head gasket. The reason i ask you guys is because i dont know the demand (if any) for SHO's in duluth/MN. i also am from duluth,i think ive seen you driving around, and there is a demand for sho's up north. but dont think that im going to buy it, im getting a honda del sol for a preject summer car, i dont need another taurus, lol, even though i want a real sho.

Pretty hard to miss, big ol' yamaha banner on the windshield, yamaha inside stickers in the back corner windows and super high output on the back window (i bought it all stickered up). Speaking of honda's raced a prelude today, not sure what its got, but i know its vtech, has vtech controller and atleast catback exhaust and intake. from like 35-40 it was kind of even until i got up to like 4 1/2 5 grand then we had to brake for traffic, but raced it like 2 blocks later at 50 and pulled away . Apparently i dont have a digi cam but trying to get ahold of one so i can get some pictures.

its all about what people would actually pay for the car, most people tend to over price cars like ours because to them the car is worth alot more, but to everybody else, its worth little or nothing because its a 'taurus', but they dont realize that that taurus just blew the doors off of that honda civic.
