Will be at Mission Raceway park on Saturday, June 26th.

Mike and Karen Stimson will be up for the weekend with their racer.

Les, will you be bringing your racer too?

We usually head out for dinner at the end of the day.

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of the Lower Mainland SHO nutz there.

:salute:

Tell us the names of those who plan to come to the track and I will add as many as I can to our pit crew list. If there are more than we can sign up, I will find others who can add you on. This will save you any entry fees and let you get into the pit area.

The earlier the better for the names.

Lokk forward to seeing you there.

Mike

P.S. The offer stands if anyone needs me to bring parts to save on shipping, let me know.

I talked to Ivan and he might drop by with either his SHO or his Noble. As much as I like our SHOs, I think I would rather look at his Noble:p

Actually Ivan said he may come by both Saturday and Sunday so he can bring both cars.

For those coming to the track, Saturday is practice and qualifying. Sunday is qualifying in the morning and racing all afternoon.

See you guys there.

Mike

I'm going to try my hardest to make it. That is the only weekend my daughter doesnt have some kind of horse event. By the way GR8WYT, you should be getting a call from Grayhound tomorrow. It would be nice to get those mufflers from GeneSho as well.

Hey Alex, if you are going to Mission it would be great if you could pick up a clutch for me from Mike. MY SHO is on a hoist with bad clutch issues and Mike is bringing one up for me.

Schweet! Thanks. I'll be back in town Friday, so that'll work out perfect.

Noble! Cool. I think I might have talked to him in Langley last year while waiting for the Albion Ferry. Hope I get to see it at Mission

Will anybody else be bringing their SHO's? I've got the white car insured for the summer, so unless it is really raining, I'll bring it.

Errr .... uummmm .... all my SHO's currently have no insurance :bonk:
My '90 is still buried in the garage with last years home improvement leftovers and supplies still stacked/surrounding the car.

No drive in rain???? Once I insure mine for the summer it's an all weather machine. And when I drove it year round it was a great winter car, especially post Quaife.

Mine is sitting high on a hoist as we speak.... With it's belly hanging low.

Yeah, I detailed the undercarriage for the 2008 Convention and I don't want to get it dirty. :sun:

Besides, that's what the Subie ( and now the 95 ATX ) are for... :nut:

I wish it a speedy recovery. I understand you'll have the parts this coming weekend. :woo-hoo:

Yup. That is working well.

I'm still angling on that engine for the TBird though.

I have to talk to Alex again to see if he has room in his truck.....

How did it all go? I wish I could have got myself out there today. I'm envious..... I'm also on the 12:15pm back to the island tomorrow and need to get the clutch in the morning so it can make its way to Doug. If I don't hear from you guys on the forum this evening, I will try reaching you by phone in the morning. Did anyone get some pictures of today's events?

Hey Gene! Thanks for dropping off the clutch and the good deal on the mufflers. Doug and Brent came by and picked up the clutch this evening. Funny day. I only meet one Sho guy in 6 years and today I meet 3. Hopefully in the future I'll meet some more. I havent been disappointed yet(!).

Cheers,

Alex

Very welcome Alex and it was great meeting up with you. Too bad I was strapped for time. With the clutch in Doug's hand, his SHO will be on the road one day earlier. I am glad to have taken the trek out this morning to take care of two SHO owners
You could have met #4 SHO guy, but GR8WYT has a tough work schedule to comply.
