Hello all,
Joining the forum as I recently picked up a 1995 SHO ATX and am looking for a good group to help me understand it and keep it on the road! Right now it is at my mechanic who has told me everything appears clean and original on the car (great news). I guess that also means that with 180k on the clock, the 120k service has probably not been done ($$$ news). On that front, I would like to say a big thank you to Mike at shosource for the incredible customer service as I sourced out some parts from him.
Never been a dedicated Ford guy. To my credit, I have had Datsun's, Pontiac's, Nissan's, Infiniti's, Chrysler's, Honda's, Toyota's, Chevrolet's, Oldsmobile's.... well, you get the point, four wheels and an engine were fair game and if the engine ran, bonus! The only Ford I had was a 1990 Taurus GL back in 1992. As I remember, the car drove well, but nothing more can be added about the Vulcan 3 liter that hasn't been said already. My buddy wound up with a SHO later on and the bolstered seats and sound of it hooked me for life.
Anyway, happy to help with general auto questions, funeral/embalming questions (my day job, I own a funeral home and promise to be the last to let you down) and free parenting advice (six kids, all of whom will need therapy).
See you around!
