This is the second time my sound system has freaked on me. I'm sick of paying money to fix it. What new deck do I need for a reasonable price that will give me the same performance or better that the current system use to give. I don't want major frills, just a deck that will support the stock system layout. By the way its my 93 JBL system with the problem. Thanks!

What I did was get a late model Mustang setup on E-bay. Paid about $100 for what looked like a brand new one from a 2000 model. One draw back I found out later. Many different Ford/Lincoln/Mercury units will work and fit but unless it came from a 92-95 Taurus/Sable your remote radio controls on the dash won't work. There are different color displays too, green and blue. Mine even has the plug in on the back for the dash buttons but still won't work. This would be your cheapest way out I think!
