New guy here in Omaha Nebraska.
Currently have a 2013 Limited that I'm looking to trade for a SHO here in the near future.

And? Would you like my blood type or maybe my cc#, would that make a proper introduction thread?
I made an account to look for advice about picking up a most recent generation SHO. Obviously Ill have more to share when I get one.

Lol...pretty funny. I didnt know quite what to say when I joined the forum.

Dont do it!! Dont get a SHO.
It will ruin every other 4400 lb. Land yacht for you forever.

Next thing 365 ponies wont be enough and you'll be modding away to turn your comfy couch seat into a horizontal rocket.

Don't say I didn't warn you.
(Get a Camry....)

Tone the attitude bro. Your post literally looks like a inept 4th grader wrote it. "Its not for everyone"... What is?

You have a 13 limited? Okay. You are looking to trade a for a SHO here in the near future. Do you want to trade your 13 limited for someone's SHO here in the forum? Like straight across? LOL.

It doesn't take two posts to intro yourself or what your intentions are.

Could look like this.

New guy here. Really interested in stepping in a SHO in the near future, because I know they aren't for everyone. I have a 13 limited that I want to use as a trade in to get the ball rolling. I am going to do a quick search of the forum to see if my questions have been answered numerous times over the past 10+ years this forum has existed.

I see that newer SHO's 14 and 15's are popping up with low miles and cost in the mid twenties. I am really interested in these. If I have any further questions, would you guys be willing to help?

Your second post could look like this.

Wow, so when I get my SHO I should change all of the fluids ASAP? All the write ups and in depth reasons on doing this has been really helpful and has taken and given my mind some ease about owning one of these cars.

"Its not for everyone" is the state motto for Nebraska so that's where that comes from. If that looks like an inept 4th grader wrote it, take it up with the state.
Obviously I'm not expecting anyone to do a straight across trade Limited for SHO. Seems obvious enough I wouldn't need to state that.
When a response to an intro thread is simply "and" you should expect a snarky response.
There is no instruction thread saying an introduction should or must include.

So blame the state on it. Typical.

We have more technology in palms of our hands, yet people still knowingly and willing continue to be inept at basic things.

I guess arrogance is bliss.

You guys make me laugh. I gotta admit I was lost, thought you were opening the door for a trade. I’m not a fan of titles that make me open to see if I care, kinda scared since people who like fast a fast Taurus are weird anyway+ Nebraska.
JK
Welcome to our corner of obsolescence. Since you’re already in a limited you know the fit so it will be better all around imho.

Ha. This thread humored me.

Meh..... it's a right of passage.

Like moving up to a SHO, from a Limited.

It'll happen.

To the OP, good luck in your quest. Just keep in mind the SHO will require a much more stringent maintenance regimen if you care to have your expectations met.

Both short term, as well as long.

Forgot to update this thread. I did pick up a 17 PP with just over 25k miles. I still need to wash it and change all the fluids this coming weekend. After that Ill get to posting pictures.
Overall I'm very happy with the car and it is considerably nicer than the limited was.
My only complaint is that holy buckets do dealer stickers suck to remove. I can't seem to get the last bit of adhesive off the trunk.

Also yes the motto for NE is in fact "It's not for everyone." They spent an obscene amount of money having a pr agency come up with it too. I'm willing to bet right now they'd rather have that money to help with flood cleanup instead of a half drunk sounding slogan.

Use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and roll it off with your fingers.

The hair dryer is how I got most of it off already. There are just a few patches of adhesive left behind.
The hair dryer didn't seem to make a difference on those. Maybe I just needed to get it hotter still.
