Is anyone planning on going to the TCCA event in July?

I was planning on going to the gingerman event, but I might have to work now. I won't know untill a couple of weeks before hand. If that is enough notice to enter my car than I will go if I don't have to work.

Awesome, glad to hear you guys are coming (or at least thinking about it!) I will be there (it's a given, I'm helping with the event), with my SHO and possibly my GL.

It'll be nice to see another black g2 mtx at the event if you're bringing it!

I'll have to join a shelby club just to get on a track this year.

Are you not going to the convention?

I am also interested in the event info.

Thanks!

We have hotel reservations but it is going to depend on whatever job I have for the summer and if I can get off that week. Ideally, we would love to go, but I won't be able to work during student teaching in the fall, so I have to save up this summer. ):

It is a good reason Michelle!

Us going to the convention relies on how my mom's house goes.

So, who has the info. for the Gingerman event?????????

Ok, I'm really getting a little peeved with you fair-weather friends and your convention vacillations! :squint:

Michelle, when you interview for a new job, just tell your prospective employers that you will be gone for 10 days in July, and will miss x number of days from work. And of course, you tell them that you don't expect to be paid for that time. I'm currently negotiating a new gig to start some time this summer, and the first things I laid on the table are the fact that I'll be gone for two weeks for the convention in July, a long weekend for Tony's BBQ in August, 2-4 weeks in Florida in February, and probably one long weekend a month to get drunk with car friends and such.

And Kris, I sure hope that your gas-guzzling Excursion toy isn't going to become your excuse for not going! You and Andy are the one of the main reasons I travel all over the country to get drunk!

Oh, and Tom gets a pass because he knew last year he wouldn't be able to make Seattle, and didn't make any plans to knowing that he'd just break them later. I'm sure he'll find the Mickey Mouse go karts down in Disney World to get into trouble with.

So, if Adam, Michelle, Andy, Kris, and Colton don't make the convention, you're all dead to me!

That's the plan Chris. :salute:

I've made each one since I heard about them. Besides, by July I will be able to legally drink in the parking lot. :)

Hmmmm..........how to reply to this one. I have too many ways my dear!
Okay, I will respond nicely and with the real reason. The Excursion has nothing to do with it since it is something I wanted for several years now. However, dealing with my mom's stuff WILL be priority over everything. Ever since I was able to attend my first convention(Madison), I have only missed the Tennessee event because my mom's health was more important. Now that she is gone, I need to make sure things are taken care of there, FIRST, and then I will not have to worry about it anymore. I know you know this stuff Chris and are just giving me a hard time. IF, for some reason, you do not know this, then I am sorry.

I am not writing off anything for a little while yet. I have been to Seattle before (driving), I have never been to the East Coast before (other than NY for three days by plane) and do not want to miss that one AT ALL!!!!

Oh yeah, one other thing........I have never attended a Gingerman event yet!!!!!! :nut:

Yes, you know I am!

Just like I give you a hard time for never inviting me to SHOboygan anymore...

I just hope you guys will be able to make it so we can all have our insane brand of fun! I don't know if I'll make Carlisle this year, as like last year if it comes down to being able to only make Carlisle or the convention, the convention wins.
