"Mass air flow below minimum voltage"

I've been getting this code off and on for about a year and a half now, even before I had this motor in my 95. I've done about everything I can think of....changed the sensor, changed the meter, ****, even the wiring harness is different from when I first got the code.

To refresh, I've got a C&L 73mm unit, but I've gotten the code with the stock MAF. I seem to only get it when decelerating in gear (i.e. coming off the highway, coasting down hills). the CE light'll stay on for about 6 seconds and then turn off....sometimes less if I tap the gas.

Any ideas?

Air filter Cone installed?

Newp....stock (yet modified) airbox. Assuming you're talking about a cone filter, and not the silencer cone....

Bad MAF connector harness....

I checked all that....I've actually spliced three different harnesses on my 92 when I had it to try to get rid of it. I've since changed harnesses when I swapped the motor into my 95...different computer, too. I'm just friggin lost...
