I am now searching for the correct intercooler for my Powerdyne setup on my '91 Plus.

Bar & Plate or Tube & Fin ? Which is the best ? Overall, performance and durability ?

Thanks :)

bar and plate are the industry standard. I imagine tubr and fin would be ok on a budget build where minimal charge cooling is required. low boost applications.

I assume you're wanting to do air-to-air, then a bar and plate is a better way to go.

There are actually 3 types of intercooler the tube and fin, bar and plate, and a hybrid of the two. The hybrids are the best, they offer low pressure drop and more surface area, but they are massive. Another thing to look at is fin layout inline fin and staggered fin. If you want the best give Extreme Turbo Systems a call they are the best for air to air intercoolers. If you go water to air I like PWR barrel intercoolers.
