installing a Tach

I have a monster tach, by AutoMeter...anyone installed one in SHO? I need to know where wires are to be spliced to and what not...any directions would be great... and ideas for best mounting location would be good also. thanks

I can't tell you which wire it is, but it is off of one of the DIS plugs.

I did this a while ago on my '89. I believe it's the grey/orange wire located on the right hand/top side of the DIS module. You can also go off of the cam sensor if you wish. Check with a light tester, if it flickers, you got a winner.
